What is the Incubator for Educational Innovation?

Every year, thousands of people join EdHeroes events inspired to improve education.

The Incubator for Educational Innovation helps answer that question. Whether you are a teacher, student, parent, researcher or community leader, the programme provides a practical step-by-step journey from identifying an educational challenge to launching your own initiative. You do not need previous experience running projects or organisations.

After submitting your project, selected participants may be matched with an experienced mentor who can help them strengthen and grow their initiative.

Share!

Share your project results and plans for growth with the EdHeroes team at info@edheroes.network using the subject line “Grassroots Incubator Submission.”

Scale and grow!

If your idea is working and has the potential to grow, repeat steps 1–6 on a larger scale to expand your reach and amplify your impact.

Reflect and Improve

Look at what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned. Use those insights to improve your project.

Turn your idea into action and take the first practical steps towards solving the problem.

My friends and I decided to bring the same idea to other libraries in our city and eventually to a neighbouring city.

After the event, we noticed that people continued bringing books on other days. So we created a permanent donation point at the library. Donations kept coming, the collection grew, and the library became a more active community space.
