The Beginning
A Spark in the Dark
In the midst of the pandemic, a group of passionate friends and colleagues united with one goal: to support education for families facing unprecedented challenges. What began as a series of webinars quickly grew into a beacon of hope for communities worldwide.

The EdHeroes Manifesto is Born
The collective voice of the EdHeroes community gave rise to a manifesto that would define its core mission: advocating for accessible, family-centered education. A movement was born, driven by shared values and a vision for the future by the community that participated in our events.

The Advisory Board Takes Shape
Recognizing the need for leadership and guidance, the EdHeroes Advisory Board began forming. Experts from various fields came together to help steer the organization and maximize its impact on global education.
October 2021
The Inaugural EdHeroes Forum
The first EdHeroes Forum was held through the initiative of the rapidly growing EdHeroes community, bringing together educators, policymakers, and community leaders to share insights, strategies, and stories of resilience. The Forum became a crucial platform for discussing educational challenges and fostering collaboration.
February 2022
EdHeroes Gains Official Status
EdHeroes officially registered in Liechtenstein, marking a new chapter in its journey as a legally recognized entity. This formalization was a pivotal step in its global expansion.

Theory of Change is Created
In partnership with Mission Measurement and our Advisory Board, EdHeroes developed its Theory of Change, outlining the roadmap to achieving its vision. This framework provided clarity and direction for future initiatives, aligning the organization with measurable impact.

Manifesto Evolution
With the pandemic waning, the EdHeroes community revisited and expanded the manifesto to adapt to the new challenges in education. This second iteration reflected a broader focus, taking into account the evolving needs of families and educators as they navigated the post-pandemic world.

The awards highlight and reward the quality and diversity of educational products, resources, services and people as well as the best educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession.

The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business are the world's premiere honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run.

Podcast Launch
The EdHeroes Voices Podcast debuted as a video series covering key topics in education, culture, and global development. Hosted by CEO Alina Baimen, it features international guest discussions. Available on Spotify, Castbox, and YouTube, it highlights educational innovations.

EdHeroes Global Forum
The EdHeroes Global Forum: Cultural Heritage in Education presented an impressive roster of 105 speakers from 40 countries, delivering 38 sessions over 27 hours of livestream content. The event reached over 120,000 unique viewers and generated more than 1,550 media publications, serving as a vital platform for dialogue and educational innovation.
We launched the EdHeroes Guide to Leading Education Organizations, highlighting over 60 notable organizations dedicated to improving global access to quality education through strategic and philanthropic efforts.

The EdHeroes Award Ceremony in Singapore honored Mr. Leon Guo and Mr. Lim Bo for their outstanding contributions to education. Mr. Baey Theng Mong presented the awards, underscoring these leaders' significant achievements and influence in the field.

Token of Appreciation
EdHeroes was honored at the "Mahakarya Batik Humanity in Harmony" event, celebrating our community efforts. This recognition marked the finale of a roadshow through three cities and National Batik Day in Indonesia. Hosted at the Vredeburg Fortress Museum in Yogyakarta, the event featured a 50-meter Batik Fabric crafted by cancer survivor children and skilled craftsmen.

Committee on “Cultural Heritage in Education“ Launch
Inspired by the EdHeroes Global Forum, we launched the Committee on Cultural Heritage in Education to integrate and promote cultural heritage values within educational systems. This initiative is dedicated to preserving important traditions, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their cultural roots.

Committee on “Education in Rural Areas“ Launch
Driven by the efforts of EdHeroes Hubs KODA in Turkey and Amantani in Peru, this committee was formed to address educational challenges in rural settings. Its mission is to eliminate barriers, ensuring equitable access to quality education and adapting educational practices for people living in rural areas.
